When you log into SONAR, you will see different sections in the top bar of the platform.
If you have a SONAR Enterprise License, you will see our Dashboards and insights pages listed first, followed by Applications, Risk Management, My Dashboards, Chart and Map.
Dashboards
This section is where you can find all of our high level insights dashboards like Trade War Command Center, National Truckload Insights, Key Market Insights and Intermodal Dashboard.
Applications
This section is where you can find all of our prebuilt dashboards to help with deeper analysis on rates, weather disruptions, ocean intelligence and RFP guidance.
Rate Intelligence :
A rate measurement dashboard that shows spot and contracted rates.
Batch Rate Intelligence :
A multilane rate management dashboard that shows the current spot and contract rate values with multiple other market analytic data points.
Container Atlas:
Provides an unprecedented level of visibility into the ocean container markets through various data points encompassing supply, demand, and ocean container spot rates.
Risk Management :
WeatherOptics and Critical Events – See real-time weather information. Users have the ability to add certain threats, overlays and assets to their map to see what weather events may be affecting them that day.
SearchCarrier and Bannon Report – Deeper Visibility Into Compliance, Risk and Performance for service providers. See OOS rating, inspections, contact information and more.
SONAR SCI :
Provides insights into market stability, by lane, helping participants identify
TRAC Spot and
Contract rates and capacity risk on a lane. It also gives users the ability to quantify the carbon impact of their transportation networks.
My Dashboards
Users can create and save their own custom built page views in custom page section for easy access.
To build your own Dashboard:
- Click on My Dashboards in the top bar
- Click + create Dashboard that appears at the bottom of the drop down
- Name your page and click create
- Select your desired layout and apply layout. You can always change this later
- Click add widget in the middle of the screen
- Select up to 5 widgets you would like to add: Charts, Watchlist, Map, and Analytics and click next
To Delete a My Dashboard:
- Click My Dashboard at the top bar
- Click bulk delete pages at the bottom of the drop down
- Select which page(s) you wish to delete
- Click Delete
To Share a My Dashboard:
- Click my dashboard at the top bar
- Hover over page you wish to share
- Click the share icon to copy share link
- Paste the shared link and send it to other SONAR users via chat, email, etc.
To Duplicate a My Dashboard:
- Click My Dashboard at the top bar
- Hover over page you wish to duplicate
- Click the double page icon to duplicate your page
SONAR Tools
Our SONAR Tools are on the top right corner of the SONAR Platform.
- My Map Layers: Use the template to upload your own locations on the map widget
- Knowledge Center: Help you learn even more about all things SONAR
- Chat: Here you can reach our Customer Success Team to answer any questions you have about SONAR
- Quick Rates: Use this anywhere on your computer screen to search for TRAC Spot rates and Contract rates (optional)
