The Regional Surveys of Business activity are monthly surveys sent to manufacturing, wholesale, retail, and service firms. Each survey is built around the profile of businesses within their respective regions.
Economists, employers, prospective employees, investors, policymakers
The surveys give insight into current activity and expectations for activity over the next six months. The components include breakouts for overall business activity in the state and at their business, including sales, inventories, and investment in new equipment or software. Further, respondents provide data about employment conditions, wages, prices paid for energy and materials, and prices received for their goods and services.
